I am glad I do not use the phone for anything but its original purpose. I do not answer texts unless they are from my daughter. She only texts me when it is important and she can't call. Told her I'd disinherit her if she made a habit of it. I abhor texting. The art of conversation will soon be a thing of the past. Even writing here to message I feel inept and rather awkward in my conveyances.

Hum, it's complicated, big city síndrome, we're experts at ignoring other people. We're losing that homely warm way that used to caracterize us. Everyone does the best they can not to get noticed when they're alone, everyone just stares at their phones :(@OnTheOutside
